About Brenda Priddy
Brenda Priddy likes to tell people that she was born with a camera in her hands, and hardly remembers a time that she didn’t own a camera or two, or maybe a half dozen. But since 1992, Brenda has been a well-known fixture in the automotive industry, photographing pre-production automobiles undergoing hot weather testing in the desert, and selling the photos to publications such as The New York Times, USA Today, Car and Driver, and even the Encyclopedia Britannica. Yes, Brenda Priddy is a spy!
Stories about Ms. Priddy and her business have been featured in Newsweek magazine, Business Week, Popular Photography The New York Times, CNN, The Discovery Channel and even ABC’s Nightly News and Nightline. She’s spoken twice at the Petersen Automotive Museum, and she has even filmed a sizzle reel for a television series.
She has spent the last several years photographing classic cars, colorful junkyards, and various Concours d'Elegance events. And since 2013, Brenda has been organizing educational and people-to-people tours of Cuba. She's considered an expert source for Americans traveling to the forbidden island, and is often interviewed on the air whenever Cuba is in the news.
Brenda’s trips to Cuba are small, intimate groups (usually under 10 people) and are filled with cultural – and classic car – experiences! To book one of her Cuban adventures, send a note to her at CubaWithBrendaPriddy@gmail.com.
She's involved in raising money for several charities, and, in 2017, was appointed a CASA (court appointed special advocate for foster children) by the Maricopa County Superior Court in Arizona.
Ms. Priddy hopes her legacy will include the word integrity, and a few awesome pieces of her fine art photography.
